Citizen Scientist – Cybernetics – Alpha

In-Game Instructions

The mod begins during the quest Hunter/Hunted, where the schematics to build the base platform and the default modifications are found on a terminal in Greenetech Genetics. That terminal will also give difficult to misinterpret clues as to where the terminals that give the schematics to craft the other mods may be found. All schematics are on unlocked or novice locked terminals.

Crafting of the base platform is done at the Cybertech category of the Armorsmith workbench. Crafting of the modules is done at the armor workbench, just like vanilla armor. Crafting of Medicinal Bioplasm is done at the Chemistry workbench.

Functionality

This mod is in a PLAYABLE ALPHA state. Due to the nature of the mod, it is highly unlikely that it will break your game, but (especially given this is my first ever mod) some of the cybernetic mods may not function correctly. Further, the following mods have no (non-role-playing) functionality:

Thermal Optics and Courser Overlay: Waiting on permissions
Metabolic Accelerator, Advanced Combat Sensors, and all Power Mods: Planned interaction with new Survival Difficulty.

Several other cybernetic modules have less exciting placeholder effects.

Additionally, the system by which the perks which let you craft the cybernetics are added to the player is not functional and in all likelihood won’t be until the release of the G.E.C.K. since the implementation will require some very simple scripting. However, the instructions for the work around are simple and presented in as lore friendly a way as possible at the relevant time in-game.

A Note on Balance

This file is balanced around being a mid to late game alternative to power armor on survival difficulty with Arbitration installed with recommended settings. It will very likely be overpowered in base survival.

Compatibility

Edits some terminals to add entries, but with a single exception (Greenetech Genetics gunner entries on terminal b9ae5) does not remove any entries. No other possible compatibility issues

Supporting Lore

By the early 2070s, the advancements in nanotechnology that made possible the recent development of the transistor based microprocessor in 2067 were beginning to be applied to control biology on the nano-scale on which it naturally operates. In 2071, Greenetech Genetics brought to market the first FDA approved gene therapy, targeted at the treatment of several of the most common genetic diseases. Over the next few years, the capabilities of the nascent fields of gene therapy, tissue engineering, and nanobiotechnology made tremendous progress. In the autumn of 2077, Greenetech Genetics, a leader in these emerging biotech fields, had just completed the tape-out of what would have been a revolutionary product: the first generation Modular Nanobionic Modification Platform.

Standard Modification Suite

The modification platform makes permeates all body tissues with Greenetech’s proprietary nanobionic electrofiber, which seamlessly integrates biocompatible nanoelectronic fibers with genetically edited biological tissue, improving the health and strength of the tissue while permitting the harmonious integration of a wide range of cybernetic devices powered by the conversion of blood glucose into electrical current.

Greenetech’s research was also funded in large part by DARPA and the Army Medical Research Command. The Department of Defense was motivated to fund the project by a desire to reduce the need for exorbitantly expensive to manufacture and operate power armor in the war with China by substantially improving the capabilities and survivability of standard infantry.

Pre-War Corporate and Military Modules:

Before the bombs fell, Greenetech had been working with a variety of Commonwealth corporations to develop third party modules for their platform. In the two hundred years since then, the schematics for those models have been scattered throughout the wasteland, but not lost to those who dare to seek them out in the depths of pre-war ruins.

Institute Modules

By reverse-engineering the cybernetic modifications the Institute implanted in Conrad Kellogg using information recovered from the Institute’s network, Kellogg’s Institute designed cybernetics can be integrated as modules into the Greenetech system. These modules, designed and ideally suited for the harsh post-war world, usually offer significant upgrades in some areas compared to prewar designs.

Brotherhood of Steel Modules

The Brotherhood of Steel can also provide access to a variety of schematics for implants salvaged in their quest to recover the cream of pre-war technology. Many of these schematics were recovered from the west coast and the capital wasteland, and consequently can’t be found anywhere else in the Commonwealth.

Vasstek Was kind enough to make this stand alone and made is
Rail road ballistic wave compatible and legendary modification compatible as well.

Can be crafted under the utility section at the chemical station.

Rogue Outfit – CBBE

Mod adds 2 “Rogue Outfit” armours to the game. In black & white and in red. This was originally created by Alecu for Skyrim and UNP, I’ve ported it over to Fallout 4, made it work with CBBE and BodySlide.

Craft at Armoursmith Workbench under “Dapper Outfits”
20 damage res, 10 energy and rad res.
Upgradable with Railroad Ballistic Weave

I didn’t add the rogue gloves because the hand skeleton stuff was a nightmare and it would’ve been weirdy with Pip-Boy anyway.

Do note that the armour will look different shade depending on your graphics setup.

The textures are high res (2-4k)

Any comments about textures being too clean or “un-lore-friendliness” will be insta-deleted and at worst case,
will get the commenter banned from my mods.

Latex Slooty vault jumpsuit

-Specular map has been changed to apply a latex effect to only one part of the map now instead of the whole texture.

Whats taking so long ? Im in the process of moving so lack of internet.

Planned goals:
-Redone normal map to fix a few annoying things possibly some actual mesh changes down the road.(im not the greatest modder so if anyone has experience and wouldn’t mind throwing in a hand send a pm.)

-More detailed diffuse maps adding some wear and tear to the clothing like you would see in the wasteland

TWB uses CBBE as base and further enhances it by adding advanced new
sliders that allow the creation of truly muscular and athletic/fit
characters.
Beyond what the barebones “Muscular” option could do with the vanilla triangle slider.

Tactical Courser

Completely replaces the Courser Trench coat with a mix of hard and soft armor 1 piece. Replaces the synth armor and helmet with a new vest and helmet.

I always hated the synth armor and Courser trench coat. I have now replaced them with a new tactical armor 1 piece and a new helmet.

The Basic gen 2 synths will now spawn in the vest and side arm.
Coursers will now spawn in the tactical gear.

Not craft able, but wearable once the player has killed a courser. Base item code is the same as the vanilla trench coat.

Private Military Company Extended

An expansion of Evtitals Private Military Company mod, adding Camos, Patches and a new vest loadout.

Have you ever sat there wearing your Private Military Company gear thinking, “If only this outfit had more options to make it look different?”
Well this is the mod for you, by adding more patches than you can ever need, new camouflages for the gear and a new loadout set.

Patches:
There are 100 new patches added with this mod, ranging from a cute Sopmod Jr patch, to an Extra Stronk J-12.
Also included are several patches from various police and military groups such as JTF2, FBI or СОБР.
Plus various cute patches like Astolfo, OwO, BoogUwU and the Nexus Famous ‘Cute Preset’.
[Disclaimer only 95 out of 100 patches are availiable on the Nexus as to not flag as adult]

Retextures:
Included are several retextures for the outift, vest helmet and equipment.
There are 11 new retextures for the clothing, consisting of 10 camouflages and a flannel operator retexture.
There are 12 new variations for the vest and helmet of camos similar to the clothing.
And 3 new retextures for the equipment availiable on the vest, with OD and variations on the original tan and black.

Loadout:
Finally there is the addition of a new loadout to the vest with extra magazines and pouches
The loadout also comes with variations for the undershirt and standalone options.

Tangled Web Armor – Destiny 2 Hunter Set

Adds the original colored set of Tangled Web armor to Fallout 4. Additional details inside.

FEMALE ONLY.
Let me start by saying that this is an early access work in progress release.

There are NO armor feature mods.
The head/neck seam is wonk.
The cloak physics is funny.

The armor is INTENDED to work as a full set. Destiny 2’s armor system is COMPLETELY different from Fallout 4’s. So no Destiny 2 style shaders. That was the first thing I tried with Fallout’s palette system – it didn’t work.

So for the ease of use, it’s the body, cloak, and helmet.
For the BEST POSSIBLE RESULTS wear the full set.
You can only get it through the console for now.

The neck position is weird and if you remove both the helmet and the cloak it looks SUPER weird. I’m looking for a fix.

All of the assets in this mod were used with permission from the original publisher.

Praetor Suit

This is a simplified, no-frills version of Wapeddell’s Praetor Suit port. Mesh/Texture port credits go to him.

No scripts, no variants involved here – just the “pristine” praetor suit as a full set of armor, with stats a little bit higher than the full set X-01 power armor.

Also, no voice modulation is involved – at least for the time being. Need to look into that in the future.

World model of this armor appears as a static conversion of the actual rigged mesh, complete with basic collision. It can be found in game, in the place of the power armor at 35 Court. Of course, you can always use the console to spawn it as well.

Legendary Enclave Skins

This mod adds a legendary version of each of the skins.

Combat- Punishing Enclave Paint Reflects 10% of melee damage back on attacker.
Leather- Sprinter’s Enclave Paint Increases wearer’s movement speed by 10%.
Metal- Troubleshooter’s Enclave Paint Reduces damage from robots by 15%.
Synth- Sharp Enclave Paint +1 Charisma and Intelligence.
Weapon- Instigating, does double damage if the target is at full health.

The legendary slot was add too so other mods can stack powers.
Science perks needed to make new ones,
a box with 6 of each miscmod is added to qasmoke.

Vault 111 Combat Suit Standalone

This is a standalone armor that that can be crafted at the chem bench. Ballistic Weave and Legendary modable.
It uses vanilla references so it will make use of any combat armor and vault 111 suit texture replacers.

I set the damage and energy resistance to match a set of sturdy combat armor and gave it 100 radiation resistance.
You can wear combat armor over top this with minimal clipping visible.

New Update.
Added a cheaper craft version, only 1 steel. Added an OP version 1000 damage resistance for a damage types. I’m going to personally use this for any settlers or companions I get stuck with.

Important note.
There are no texture files included so this mod will look very vanilla without texture replacement.
See included pictures for reference.

The texture replacers I’m using and are highly recommend are….

CHROME Combat Armor – Flight helmet – MANY re-color choices – NO LOGO on it
(there is a lot more than chrome here, my new favorite, lots of unique choices)
or
Combat Armor Recolors
(more tradition look to retexture combat armor)
and

Proto Vault Suit
(several color choice probably nicest vault111 suit retexture on nexus)

there are lots of wonderful retextures to check out on nexus. too many to list here.
so have fun finding your perfect match.

Side Note:
You can drag and drop any of the meshes from my non-standalone mod into this mods folder and it will look like that version.

All in One Ring ( Armors CBBE Compatible )

“All in One Ring” is a standalone ‘ring’ that when worn equips visually and stat wise a full set of armor. The armor has resistances, 5 legendary slots, material slots (poly, shadow, and the like) that actually work and change color, a lining slot (things like padded or biomesh) and ballistic weave. Fully compatible with any body, armor or texture replacers.
Works for Male and Female

This mod doesn’t have any external assets and only uses vanilla references making it basically compatible with most mods. Can even be upload to Beth.Net and work on a PS4.
No requirements of any kind but originally designed to be used with CBBE and vanilla replacers.

Currently there are only 2 versions of rings that can be crafted at the chem bench,

Lite Combat Armor Set Equip
and
Light Leather Armor Set Equip

I plan to add meds and heavies to the list as well as metal sets.

This is a spin off of my “All in One Armors” mod but with a big difference being
compatibility with body mods and it is meant to be worn over underarmors.

Mod design was built around having convenient lore friendly armor that would “just work” with my body replacers and vanilla replacer mods.

I’m still working on balancing the stats. going to be a bit op if you start the game ballistic weaving out the vault. I added the BW to be part of the normal progression of the game.
So that by the time you make it to the RR the armors base stats should start feeling weak.
Also chose to start with light armor so I can see all my groovy underarmors on my character.

It uses the wedding ring slot 51
